The theory of the taoist massage, the same as the tao philosophy, is based on the concept of Qi, the body energy, its circulation and quantity. Its principal aim is to reestablish the fluidity of the energy and the blood, the end being to preserve and afirm a good state of health.
Following the laws of Ying-Yang and the 5 elements, the first level, Ying-Yang Jing Tao, rebalances the "bodies": the physical, the energetic and the mental, using harmonising oils to increment the effect.
The second level, Wai Jing Tao, concentrates and works on a more therapeutic level, i.e. the contractures of the muscles and tendons.
Meanwhile the third level, Nei Jing Tao, reestablishes the balance of the energies at the source of the unbalance, in the internal depth of the body: the organs.
